Hampshire County Criminal History is an independent reference resource. It does not hold official criminal records, perform official background checks, retrieve files, or submit paperwork. Its role is to identify the Hampshire County Sheriff, county court clerks, West Virginia State Police, WVDCR, the West Virginia Sex Offender Registry, and other official channels that maintain the underlying information.
Sponsored tools may also appear. They remain separate third-party services and are not Hampshire County or West Virginia government products.

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination
Information found here or through a linked service may not be used to harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate. Registry information requires special care. The West Virginia Sex Offender Registration Act creates a public-safety system, while the official portal warns against threatening, intimidating, or harassing a listed person. A concern about noncompliance belongs with law enforcement, not private confrontation.
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
Neither the website nor its editorial content provides consumer reports under the FCRA. The information may not be used to evaluate credit, insurance, employment, housing, licensing, benefits, or any other FCRA-regulated eligibility question. Visitors also agree not to use a linked tool for those purposes unless the separate provider expressly operates as a compliant consumer reporting agency for that lawful use.
